Rice consider the Vikings should stick with the QBs they already have
While he was interviewed by the the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Jerry Rice sounded off on Brett Favre. As a fierce competitor in his own right, Rice didn’t exactly sound enthusiastic about another Favre comeback.
“You have two quarterbacks, Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels who don’t know exactly what is going to happen. All of a sudden these two guys thought they were going to be competing. To be honest with you, I thought Tarvaris would be the starting guy this year… Now you have this saga, and everybody is sitting back wondering what is going to happen.” said Rice, not in chargers jersey.
Rice thought that Jackson or Rosenfels, not Favre, should be starting for the Vikings this year. He said that the two should be considered more important than Favre.
